Last eventful Saturday (7/27/2024), young students immersed themselves in the exciting world of STEM through a series of interactive activities. Small groups of students collaborated as teams to tackle experiments, such as building functional balloon cars, speed-solving math challenges, and visually exploring chemical reactions.

During the workshop, students learned about the principles of action and reaction forces in physics by building and racing balloon-powered cars. This hands-on activity helped them understand Newton's Third Law of Motion in a fun and practical way. Additionally, they explored the concept of repulsion in chemistry through experiments that demonstrated how certain substances interact and repel each other, creating fascinating visual effects.

Our aim is to increase students' awareness of the opportunities within STEM fields and to inspire them to pursue these areas with curiosity and passion in their future careers!
